Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed on 21 April 2020 the decision for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with the Ivory Coast. The treaty, signed 29 February 2016, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
