On 30 October 2014, the decree ratifying the social security agreement (SSA) with South Korea was published in Turkey's Official Gazette. The agreement, signed 1 August 2012, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month following the month in which the ratification instruments are exchanged.
