Turkey has reduced the employer premium (contribution) support for disability, old age, and death insurance from 5% to 4% effective 1 February 2025. With the support, the standard contribution rate is effectively reduced from 20.75% to 16.75%. For the manufacturing sector, however, the 5% support continues to apply until 31 December 2026, which results in an effective rate reduction to 15.75%. The president is authorized to extend this an additional year to 31 December 2027.
