On 8 June 2019, the Turkmenistan Government announced that the parliament (Mejlis) has approved the resolution for the ratification of the pending protocol to the 2015 tax treaty with South Korea. The protocol, signed 17 April 2019, is the first to amend the treaty and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the protocol will be published once available.
