The UAE Federal Tax Authority has issued a release announcing a one-year extension for tax registrants to benefit from the administrative penalties redetermination. The redetermination, as extended, allows qualifying taxpayers to settle only 30% of unpaid penalties imposed before 28 June 2021 on outstanding tax due as long as the tax and penalties are paid by 31 December 2022.
