The UAE the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has announced the launch of an initiative to waive or refund administrative penalties for the late submission of corporate tax registration applications, subject to the condition that tax returns (or annual declarations) are submitted within seven months after the end of the first tax period. The standard deadline for returns is within nine months after the end of the tax period.
