The UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) published VAT Public Clarification VATP033 on 24 February 2023 in regard to new reporting requirements for e-commerce supplies. As explained in the public clarification, taxable persons supplying goods and services through e-commerce exceeding AED 100 million in a calendar year are referred to as "qualifying registrants".
