On 14 March 2019, the UK Parliament approved a motion to delay the UK's exit from the EU, while rejecting the possibility of a second referendum. This follows a second rejection of the EU Withdrawal Agreement and a rejection of a no-deal Brexit a day earlier. Before seeking the extension, however, Prime Minister Theresa May will attempt again on 20 March 2019 to have the withdrawal plan approved.
