The UK Parliament committee considering the draft Double Taxation Relief (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) Order 2018 approved the draft on 9 May 2018 for the ratification of the BEPS MLI. The committee also approved the draft orders for the ratification of the pending protocols to the 1977 tax treaty with Switzerland and the 1993 tax treaty with Uzbekistan, which include provisions of the MLI.
