The UK House of Commons is considering the Value Added Tax Bill 2019-20, which is currently scheduled for a second reading on 10 July 2020. The Bill includes measures to enable the maximum turnover threshold for exemption from the requirement to register for VAT to be raised, to make provision for the exemption of certain goods and services from liability to VAT, and for connected purposes.
