The UK has published the Value Added Tax (Reduced Rate) (Hospitality and Tourism) (Coronavirus) Order 2020. The Order came into force on 15 July 2020 and provided for the application of the 5% reduced VAT rate for hospitality, hotel and holiday accommodation, and admission to shows and certain other attractions until 12 January 2021 ({News-2020-07-15/A/16-previous coverage}).
