The US Senate has ratified the protocol to the income tax treaty between Sweden and the United states, which was signed on 30 September 2005.
The ratification by the US Senate was by unanimous consent on 31 March 2006, and followed approval of the protocol by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on 14 March 2006.
