The U.S. IRS has issued a release on an automatic extension of the 15 April 2020 tax return deadline to 15 July 2020 as part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Further, the previously announced deferment of tax payment to 15 July is now being provided with no cap on the payment relief amount (previously USD 1 million for individuals and 10 million for corporations).
