On 2 April 2019, the U.S. IRS updated its Country-by-Country (CbC) Reporting Jurisdiction Status Table to note that the intergovernmental agreement for the exchange of CbC reports with India has been signed and the competent authority arrangement for exchange is in the process of being signed ({News-2019-03-28/T/4-previous coverage}). The update also includes the note that no local filing will be required in India for U.S. MNEs.
