The U.S. IRS has released an international practice unit on Source of Income for Nonresident Alien Individuals. The practice unit discusses the source rules used in determining the U.S. income tax liability of foreign persons, including for interest income, dividends, personal services income, rentals and royalties, gains on the sale of property, and others.
