The U.S. IRS and Treasury Department have issued final regulations and a related revenue procedure to provide guidance for owners of solar and wind energy facilities in low-income communities for increased energy investment credits under the Inflation Reduction Act. The regulations are scheduled to be published in the Federal Register on 15 August 2023 and will be effective 60 days after publication.
