The U.S. IRS and Treasury have issued proposed regulations (REG-100814-19), published in the Federal Register on 26 February 2020. The proposed regulations provide guidance in relation to the elimination of the deduction for entertainment expenses and the limitation on the deduction of meal expenses resulting from amendments made by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
