U.S. President Donald Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen have announced a trade deal following a meeting between the two leaders on 27 July 2025 (Commission Statement). The trade deal includes a 15% U.S. tariff rate on most imports from the EU, including cars, semiconductors, and pharmaceuticals.
