U.S. Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden (D-OR) has outlined proposed tax policies to hold Russia accountable for the Ukraine invasion in a release issued 11 March 2022. This includes, among others, the elimination of the preferential GILTI rate on Russian and Belarusian income, and the denial of foreign tax credits and deductions for taxes paid to Russia and Belarus.
