U.S. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) has announced the introduction of legislation to provide double-taxation relief between the U.S. and Taiwan. The legislation is a companion to House Bill H.R. 33, the United States-Taiwan Expedited Double-Tax Relief Act, which was approved in the House of Representatives on 15 January 2025.
