U.S. President Trump has decided to implement tariffs effective 1 June 2018 on steel and aluminum imports from Canada, Mexico, and the EU. The tariffs, which apply at a rate of 25% on steel and 10% on aluminum, were implemented 23 May 2018, although a temporary suspension was allowed for certain countries and the EU.
