U.S. Tax Extenders Legislation Approved

On 18 December 2015, both houses of the U.S. Congress approved the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act and the Omnibus spending bill, which was then signed by the president the same day. The legislation renews 52 tax provisions (tax extenders) that expired the end of 2014, and makes certain provisions permanent.
