The U.S. Treasury Department and the IRS have issued a notice on regulations regarding the new credit for clean vehicles introduced by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. In relation to this, the IRS also released frequently asked questions (FAQs) about clean vehicle credits for new, previously owned, and commercial clean vehicles, and the Treasury Department released a white paper on proposed guidance on the critical mineral and battery component requirements for the credit.
