On 3 October 2018, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers approved for ratification the pending income tax treaty with Qatar. The treaty, signed 20 March 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force ({News-2018-04-20/T/6-previous coverage}).
