According to a release from the Ukraine parliament, the bill for the termination of the 1993 income and capital tax treaty with Belarus was approved on 16 November 2022. The bill must now be signed into law by the president and published in the Official Gazette to enter into force. As per the terms of the treaty, the termination would apply from 1 January 2024, at the earliest, if the notice of termination is given by the end of June 2023.
