According to recent reports, Ukraine's Parliament Committee on Tax and Customs Policy has decided to postpone moving forward on the proposed replacement of the current corporate income tax system with a tax on distributed profits until an agreement with the IMF can be reached on the provisions of the new system. The proposed tax on distributed profits would be similar to the tax systems of Estonia, Georgia, and Latvia, and is meant to improve the investment climate of Ukraine.
