According to recent reports, the Ukraine government is planning a new corporate tax regime that would replace the current corporate income tax with a tax on profits distributions. The tax regime would be similar to the regime employed by Estonia and the regime adopted by Latvia from 2018 ({News-2017-08-03/A/3-previous coverage}), which generally provide that retained profits remain exempt.
