On 28 May 2020, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky signed Order No. 373/2020-rp, which authorizes the Minister of Finance to sign a new income tax treaty with Spain. The treaty must be signed and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1985 tax treaty between Spain and the former Soviet Union as it applies in respect of Spain and Ukraine.
