Denmark has published Notice BKI No. 5 of 22 June 2020, which confirms the entry into force of the 2018 income and capital tax treaty with Armenia on 22 October 2019 ({News-2020-02-27/T/2-previous coverage}). The treaty, signed 14 March 2018, is the first of its kind directly between the two countries, although the 1986 tax treaty between Denmark and the former Soviet Union had continued to apply, but was terminated. The 2018 tax treaty applies from 1 January 2020.
