The Uruguay government has reportedly issued a decree that extends a suspension of deadlines for beneficial ownership reporting to the Central Bank of Uruguay, including changes in shareholders. The requirements to report apply in general for resident entities and non-resident entities that have a permanent establishment or place of effective management in Uruguay. The suspension applies from 15 May 2020 and is now extended to 15 August 2020.
