Uruguay published Law No. 20.003 in the Official Gazette on 29 November 2021, which provides for the ratification of the pending protocol to the 2005 social security agreement with the Netherlands. The protocol, signed 2 September 2019, is the first to amend the agreement and will enter into force on the first day of the fourth month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
