Uruguay to Provide 6-Month Tax Breaks for Agricultural Sector

The Government of Uruguay has submitted a draft bill in the General Assembly (parliament) to provide tax breaks for the agricultural sector. The tax breaks include that taxpayers would be exempt from corporate income tax and wealth tax accrued in respect of their agricultural activities and related assets during the period 1 January 2023 to 30 June 2023.
