The State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has announced the extension of the VAT exemption period for vegetable oils and certain foods until 30 April 2022. The VAT exemption applies for:
- The import of vegetable oil, sunflower and flax seeds, and soybeans into Uzbekistan;
- Turnover from the production and (or) sale of vegetable oil (except cottonseed oil); and
- Turnover from the sale of meat (cattle, sheep, chickens), live animals (cattle and poultry) and products of their slaughter, potatoes, and…
