The Uzbekistan president reportedly issued a decree on 20 July 2020 that provides additional tax relief in response to COVID-19. The decree includes:
- a turnover tax exemption for catering establishment effective from 1 April to 31 December 2020, as well as an exemption from the tax on retail sales of alcoholic beverages by catering establishments from 1 July to 31 December 2020;
- a VAT exemption for property rental companies from 1 July to 31 December 2020;
