Venezuela published Decree No. 4.911 in Official Gazette No. 42.797 of 12 January 2024, which extends a temporary exemption from VAT, customs duty, and other taxes on the definitive import and sale in Venezuela of fuels derived from hydrocarbons, as well as inputs and additives intended to improve the quality of gasoline. The exemption previously applied from 13 January 2023 to 13 January 2024 and is now extended to 12 January 2025.
