Vietnam Looking to Negotiate Tax Treaty with Sierra Leone

Officials from Sierra Leone and Vietnam reportedly met on 23 September 2021 to discuss bilateral cooperation, including Vietnam's interest in the negotiation and signing of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and would need to be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
