Zambia is looking to accelerate tax treaty negotiations with Turkey, with Zambia's ambassador to Turkey reportedly calling for the two countries to expeditiously conclude negotiations during a recent meeting with Turkish officials. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
