Zambia's Cabinet in its meeting of 22 June 2020 resolved to terminate the 2011 Zambia-Mauritius tax treaty. The Cabinet reiterated its desire to renegotiate another treaty with Mauritius that would include more robust limitations on benefits and more balanced shared taxation rights on, in particular, passive income.
