The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) has issued Public Notice 2 of 2023 announcing that the VAT rate has been increased from 14.5% to 15.0% with effect from 1 January 2023. The increase was provided as part of the Finance (No. 2) Act 2022 (Act No. 10 of 2022), which was published in the Official Gazette on 30 December 2022.
